  I popped in to the store to grab some new headlight bulbs on route to somewhere else. Jack was excellent and offered to fit them straight away. Quick, professional and friendly service.

  Went it to get a battery charger as the one in my van had inexplicably gone flat. The chargers were all rated for 2 litre engines, and mine was 2.2. Asked for advice and the gentleman explained that it was technically rated by battery size. He looked up the possible sizes for my van and concluded that it should work fine. Explained to me about it's safe usage and that it was possible that my battery running flat may have damaged it. All-in-all he was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Great help when I was in a fluster about getting my van running again ASAP.

  When I first started cycling and had a problem with my bike, i would pop in to ask questions as to how I would fix it. On more than 3 occasions they explained the problem, how to prevent it, and did the repair for free. Not saying this is common practice, but, in my eyes they earned the 5*'s

  Wasted an entire weekend waiting for a bike that should have been ready on Friday, then Saturday and then after lunch Sunday and now it will definitely be ready Tuesday. Forget it, Halfords, I'm off to an independent bike store where they understand customer service. I recommend others to do the same.

  We had 3 bikes to service and my sons bike was too small for him and I was correctly advised that it should be changed as I would of wasted money on it. Sam was so knowledgeable and we chose a new bike, delivered and put together the next day (Sunday) also the other 2 bikes where serviced quickly so we picked up all bikes the next day. Extremely happy with the service.
