  Good location, just a short walk from the train station and amenities. Room was spacious and the bed big enough. Although the room smelled a little bit damp when entering. Breakfast was good, I appreciated the black pudding especially

  Thank you to the wonderful staff at the hallmark. Especially Yani who even escorted us to our room seeing to our luggage to surprise us with an upgrade to a suite with a lovely chocolate gateaux and card from all the staff for my daughter who was celebrating her 30th birthday. Our experience was first class from checking in to departure. Nothing too much bother. Breakfast at £7.50 is a steal. Fresh hot buffet and continental selection. Enjoyed our spa experience too. Customer service second to none. Thank you again.

  Had a great time on both occasions my boyfriend and I stayed. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were nice, and we thoroughly enjoyed having use of the pool facilities! My only issues with the hotel is that the food was a bit pricey, and the bathrooms in the rooms could do with a revamp. Otherwise, thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would stay again.

  Lovely visit to the spa, therapist were fab and pool,, sauna were great. Coffee and scones lovely and lunch very nice too. The showers and paint work around the spa area needs painted and upgraded. Staff fantastic, lovely day. Xx

  Rooms are dated, but the size of the room which I have been staying is better than in Marriott on the opposite side of the road. I would expect bigger TV. Reception staff is professional and helpful. So first impression is positive. Brasserie waiting staff works hard to deliver good service and they do it well.
