  Shop is clean an spacious. But here comes the BUT. Firstly let paint a picture. Me and my girlfriend are both 35+ adult women, slowly ambling round Heron discussing the percentage of fat in a custard cream. We must have been in there for 15 minutes putting stuff in our shopping bag. I picked up a bottle of Oasis (the offending item) and put it in. We was then met with (not excuse me) but "you putting that back!" To my shock I said "No i don't because I have other stuff in it that I'm going to buy". I then continued to make my way to the cashier where I literally tipped the bag upside down, giving in an extra shake, whilst telling the lady in the cash desk (extra loudly) "JUST SO YOU CAN SEE IS EMPTY AN I'M NOT STEALING ANYTHING" Paid for the goods went to walk out and got pulled back in for shoplifting... Long story short I didn't nick anything and once shopping got checked we wasnt met with a nervous laugh and an appology, just the woman flinging the receipt at me saying "Yep". After asking for an appology, I got one (through false gritted teeth). We also went on to say, "Don't mind being checked but there is no need for the aggressive nature of the staff, to which the youngest member of staff borderline shouted" I WERNT". Apart from that brilliant customer service, well done Heron, lost a couple of customers.

  Girl named morgan needs retraining. Poor customer service. Stood talking at the till for ages whilst the queue kept building up. Poor service.

  Fab store. Sales assistants are always happy to help.

  Great value for money. Staff are friendly and helpful. The store also has a savings scheme.

  Very nice Heron store. Good variety of products and plenty of space to walk around.
