  The service was ok, although the waiter was lacking a sense of humour. It took a while for the food to arrive even though it wasn't overly busy. All dishes were good, even the vegetarian options, but nothing really fantastic and when you look at the prices, you kind of expected that it would be. The restaurant was cold, both times. I ended up eating with my jacket on. I think there are other Indian restaurants that provide better service and better food with a more reasonably priced menu.

  Despite living in Devon for nearly 20 years we have only just found this place and it is the best Indian/Nepalese we have had in Devon. Staff are so friendly and understand about allergies (first time I have had an Indian where my allergy - cucumber- has not appeared on one of the dishes) Some lovely dishes and I thoroughly enjoyed the one recommended by the manager of king prawn sag although all the food was beautifully cooked and presented. Definitely got the taste buds going and nice to see their mild/medium/hot guide was accurate. Have now visited twice in 10 days and will be going back bringing others with us. A very enjoyable experience that we will be repeating. The online table booking system made it so easy to book (and meant I could book it after our pub closed at midnight!)
