  The HM PASSPORT OFFICE in peterborough is a busy office at the best of times there is no parking at the office site itself but a council run multistory car park is across the way with a ANPR CAMERA CONTROLLED PARKING system and is signed on the way into the city centre disabled parking spaces are on the lower floors along with pay points taking payment by cards and cash. the passport interview centre does not allow friends into the interview area. but carers are and you will need to be security checked on the way in. The fast track desk is at the front of the room and the interview waiting area to the back of the building. A photo booth is available at (£6) for your photos of yourself. There are toilets available on site with disabled accessible facilities. all the staff are helpful and friendly.

  Excellent experience in fast track passport collection & highly convenient when needing it urgently. Use the multi-story car park which is a 2 minutes walk away. Be aware that only people requesting a passport can go inside, which makes sense. Plenty of shops and coffee shops nearby on the High St. Could do with a bit more signage at the office, apart from that all good.

  Mixed feelings on my experience at the passport office. to me there is a shocking lack of information when you first enter with many people milling about all unsure of which line, which door, what time I can enter,who can come with you it seemed up to the public who had got to the front of their queue to inform or pass on information to the milling crowds. The security team have a difficult job to do but had a dreadful lack of customer care or pleasentness about them in fact rude as other reviews have mentioned still continues.....there is no need for rudeness. The time keeping and appointment system worked very well and We were very pleased with the efficiency of the office... Overall as I said mixed feelings but so very glad when our passports arrived in good time.The 200 mile round trip was worth it . Thank you

  Never encountered such rude people in my life.. me and my husband have never used a passport office before so we didn’t know the process. We went for him to have an interview. Upon arriving I was physically barred from moving any further by a staff member’s arm, he then shouted at me “you are not the applicant so do not attempt to gain access again”. I stood waiting just behind the queue. After seeing people come in and leaving again when they saw the passport form holders empty, I started refilling them from a box just behind them. Was very bored. Another member of staff then shouted at me to put every form back in the box, mind my own business and to wait outside. Maybe if they could do their own job in future I might not have touched them.. so rude, such unnecessary aggression. Shame on you Peterborough passport office.
