  1 have been to this place half a dozen times in the last year. The price I pay is never what the label under the product says. Some goods are disorganised and scattered over shelves. Picked an item today, went to pay and it was £20 more. Went back and realised that the item picked didn't even have a price label on the shelf. Poor poor pricing information.

  Quite a big homebase helpful friendly staff but take your own tiolet paper. It will be converted into a Bunnings soon.

  Went all the way to Catford Homebase from Whitechapel to find out they do not sell skirting boards for cabling concealment which was being advertised on their website which further states 27 available in stock at this specific store. The chap working in the timber section said he has never seen the item which I showed on their website using my phone. He took me to customer service who checked the item revealing it had been discontinued since 2012! How is it possible for them to advertise on their website for an item not sold for 5 years! Wasted journey.

  The staff was very polite and helpful..helped to explain the product which I wanted. And also helped me to take my purchase to my car...very good customer service.
