  Hopkins were recommended by a friend, which I think is the best advert for business. Both Lynnette and Andrew clearly explained everything I needed to know. They were very easy to contact by phone and e-mail and would always call back when unavailable.

  One star is far too much for them. They've turned conveyancing into a living nightmare. Buying property may be stressful but they take it to another level of anti-professionalism. Slow and non responding had to chase all the time just to find out we are still in the same place... Never again

  I contacted the firm to help with a situation to do with my children. I needed legal advice and representation in court. I was told that a solicitor would contact me to discuss my case. This didn't happen, I called the office only to be told that they would be in touch, again, nothing. I then emailed, I was informed the original solicitor was leaving the firm ans someone else would be in touch. By this time I have been given my court date and informed them of this. I am now the day before my court day and still haven't heard anything from the firm. Thankfully I have managed to find advice online, although I won't have legal representation in court. I would not recommend this firm to anyone. EDIT After emailing the firm to state that I was unhappy with their service. I have now been in contact with Rebecca is helping me now.

  Will James has recently acted on instruction to sell my house. He gave a competitive quote, and despite a few deviations on the plot (sales falling through etc.) he stuck to his original figure. When my purchase fell through (twice!) he charged for the additional work at a fair and reasonable rate. He is a busy man, but when it really matters, is responsive and understands exactly when to give the process a timely push, and he's brought us safely over the finish line. Both Will and Gillian are highly personable and professional, I would recommend them to anyone in need of conveyancing services.

  Pat Wright at Hopkins Solicitors recently assisted me in writing my Will. No matter what stage of life you are at or personal circumstances for writing a Will, it is without doubt an emotional thing to do. There are a lot of things to consider. Pats expertise and guidance in this process was invaluable; it helped me to better understand the legal minefield in order to make informed decisions on my bequeaths and to get through the process logically. In conclusion I am now content that my desires and wishes are in place for my loved ones, and my Will should not be a complicated process for my Executors to manage when I have gone.
