  Lovely old hotel l. Full of character and nice bar and restaurant areas. The room we had was lovely the shower and bathroom was amazing. However the bed was not that comfortable. Went there for a wedding and was good venue. Staff were helpful and friendly.

  This to me is the best restaurant in Bristol. Food is fantastic service superb and the restaurant itself has a very atmosphere. The food is not cheap but you only get what you pay for.

  Fairly inconspicuous from the road but a lovely venue once you're in. Staff were amazing from when we arrived until we left. The meals we had in the evening and for breakfast were top notch. The bistro had an intimate atmosphere and our room for the night was more than adequate. The bathroom has made me envious though and I wish I had something more like it at home! Recommended for a premium experience in a central location, walking distance from just about everything.

  Invited for my birthday. A perfect evening in every possible way. Ambience, environment, food, wine, champagne, friendly, efficient service, company. Couldn't be better.

  Stayed here for 1 night a few times now on business. Lots of history to the place if you have time to read the plaques on the wall. Good selection of drinks at the bar. Breakfast was fabulous - salmon and scrambled egg, the room was amazing. I had one with a large free standing bath and another with a free standing bath and walk-in open plan shower.
