Took my Guinea pig here a few years back, this review is still relevant because it was Hunt himself who saw my pig. I went in on a Thursday but it was a bank holiday weekend ( they we're shut Friday &weren't open till next Tuesday!) I just discovered my pig wasn't able to eat at all (teeth problems) so rushed him in, Hunt actually didn't even bother looking into my pigs mouth because he said they "didn't have the proper tool for it and to come back on Tuesday"!!! This so-called vet should know that when a gpig doesn't eat their gut shuts down and causes a fatal illness called bloat, so this was an emergency. Hunt didn't give a damn - all this vets care about is large animals. I went to Woodcroft vets in Cheadle instead who were open all that bank holiday weekend and treated him fantastically! Avoid Hunts vets for small animal treatment!!!

I've finally found vets that listen!! A clean, bright & welcoming environment. Really handy that they have open clinic format, no appointments necessary. It can be busy on occasions but I'm happy to wait; my pack deserves the best I can get. Value for money too! I now realise Dick Turpin ran my previous practice. After my 7 year old Labrador developed a life threatening condition emergency surgery was carried out on site. She's still here to wag her tail!!!!! I will be getting my next puppy spayed early! Thank you - The Hunts Woodley Team Exceptional service!!!!.

Poor customer service, no empathy rude, cold receptionist, interrupting a private conversation i had with my daughter. basically after not being there for over 7 years after my poor dog had died. i was met with a bill i was suppose to pay from that period, i relived that awful time, she didn't even have on record he had died, yet someone had spoken with me from the practise the night he was dying, it was awful then, but there was sympathy at least.so awful the way this receptionist treated me today, i just couldn't believe it, i am on a low income receive carers allowance i had budgeted for £65.00 of treatment but even this treatment was £10 more and i had no choice to pay the additional cost from 2009 of £40 which i had no correspondence with over the last 7 years, she even seemed to think i had a pet called smudge on my records? after the treatment for my cat, i had to ask for use of the phone she snapped why don't you use your mobile, i had to explain that i had no credit, i gave her a pound for the call, she tried giving me back, saying that's much to much, i gave her 50p she said i will put it in the charity box, if i owed money fair enough, but how many people can go that far back? but she never said sorry, sorry that she couldn't allow treatment of my cat , or i am sorry that it is bringing up a forgotten tragedy, or yes its understandable you nay have forgotten it, see what i can do, also what i don't understand also, it said amount of £40 written off in 2010 on a form?going to investigate it but not sure how, just so terrible.

One of few local vets that understand rabbits. Is a good place for general checkups, however if there is something more serious with your rabbit then you need to take it to the Poynton branch as they don't have the facilities here, it's just a small box. They don't have emergency transport to take the rabbit for you to their Poynton branch and during rush hour it can take an hour if not more to get from here to Poynton.
