  Pros: Staff were friendly. Cons: Bathroom very small. Kept up until 4am by the club next door. I am usually a heavy sleeper so this is unusual for me. Absolutely would not recommend if you want a good night's sleep.

  Brilliant hotel and bar! My room was just the right size, not quite pokey but definitely not too big to stop it being cosy. The staff were always polite and smiley throughout our visit and the food was delicious on the one night we did visit. Drinks selection wasn't the best but not a downside in my view as the hotel is in the middle of the Chinese Quarter and only a short walk to a lot of bars and a restaurants. Despite it being on a main clubbing road of Birmingham centre the building was well soundproofed. If I am ever visiting Birmingham again, I will likely check this Ibis first.

  The rooms are not huge but certainly big enough to be comfortable and good value for the price. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The bar is a nice place to sit and have a drink before you go out and is decently stocked. Breakfast has lots to choose from and the seating area is kept clean and tidy. Great location close to lots of things to do in the city. Would recommend.

  Pretty good! Bed was super comfy, I honestly didn't notice the noise (though if you're a really light sleeper I'd suggest you stay somewhere a bit farther out or use the ear plugs provided!) and not a bad price for the middle of the city. Only problem was that the shower in the morning kept switching between acceptable, boiling hot and then coldish, but the chap I told sounded like he was going to get it seen to asap.

  The single beds seem very small. It's hard to turn over without be toppling over the edge. But on the other hand the bed was really comfortable. The spare pillows had a faint odour as if they have been used and the pillow cases not changed. But me personally didn't need to use the spare pillow anyway. The room is small the bathroom is really small. But I did have a decent sleep. The staff where very very friendly and nice to talk to. There was a cobweb hanging off the ceiling above directly above where your head would lay. Once again I really enjoyed my stay and didn't find the small room an inconvenience. Not to mention the club's around music can be heard very very clearly. The hotel does give you ear buds to help block it out. But I can't sleep in them honestly. I do recommend this hotel. Just worth noting the negitive.
