I am amazed by the previous lady's review. I bought a Mercedes E220 from this dealer 6 months ago. It was an excellent deal then and is still an excellent deal. Hassle free and with a first rate warranty. The dealer, Jack, is an older gentleman, a word I use correctly. He couldn't have been more helpful, and took a great deal of pride in the car, which really was/is in mint condition. Since buying the car I've called him a couple of times for advice and he continues to be helpful and generous. He's old school and that's in the best sense of the term. Would absolutely recommend.

Truly awful experience! Having seen a lovely looking car advertised on Auto Trader, advertised as "...Truly Immaculate and well cared for by ONE lady owner in original unmarked colour coded metallic blue..." I called the Trader (and spoke to Jack) to ask a couple of questions, and to arrange to view the vehicle. Specifically, I asked whether the car had ever been in an accident/had any accident damage and if it had ever been written off under any category. At this point, Jack suddenly became rude and cantankerous, seemingly annoyed that I had asked these questions. He told me that the advert was absolute truth and that the car was immaculate "as if it had just been driven off the forecourt" I appologised if I had offended him and explained that we had seen several cars recently which were not as described, so wanted to check before traveling (60 mile round trip) to view it. Anyway, when we got to the car, it was IMMEDIATELY obvious that the car was not as described and my earlier conversation had clearly been a complete waste of time. Pretty much every panel of the car contained scratches and marks, and the front bumper, was clearly cracked and pushed back, out of alignment on one side, indicating a front end crash/whoopsident of some sort. When we pointed this out to Jack, his excuse was that it was an 8 year old car and we couldn't expect it to look immaculate. I pointed out that immaculate with no crash damage is how he was portraying it in the advert and also on the phone to me earlier on. Jack tried telling is that the rest of the car was in excellent condition (even though there were several scuffs and scratches all over the car). We decided that although the car wasn't cosmetically as described and the car required a repair to the bumper, we were still interested in the car if the repair cost was reflected in the final price, so my husband asked if we could take it for a test drive. Jack got all cantankerous again and instead of agreeing to a test drive, questioned our interest in the vehicle. My husband told Jack that his ONLY major concern (understandable concern I feel) was with the bumper as it would need to be replaced. So in response to the request for a test drive, Jack managed to talk himself out of the sale by telling my husband that he obviously wasn't interested in the vehicle (even though he had asked for a test drive and confirmed that he only had one major concern) At this point i'm afraid we had enough of Jacks attitude and walked away.

Wow, now I know the real meaning of the word rude. Not going to sell many cars with that attitude.
