  Stayed here for 1 night with my 3 children. From the moment we checked in the staff where great. Can't fault them at all. The room was clean and nice. Would recommend this hotel and we will come back again

  Hair in the room. Bath is stained. The air con doesn't work. There's no ventilation. Can't open a window or open a vent on the window. Dated decor. Why have such a Grand hotel if you can't keep it up to date. Looks really nice downstairs in reception and then goes to pot in the rooms. Can see the money goes into front house rather than having nice rooms. Holiday Inn or similar charge less and are better. Can feel a change of room request coming on.and whyyyyyy is there no handle to close the bathroom doors. Such a basic thing. Good Note. Iron and Board in the room :)

  The place is close to city center and the service is fair enough to what you pay! Although I got a room at floor 16 with a nice view, there was a noisy sound on the room continuously. We tolerate this one. The main reason I am getting two stars to them is the staff behaviour which was not friendly and warm at all!! The reception did not even look at me when I was checking out! she just throw (!!) the keys down and said all done! #rude

  Stayed for 5 days while at a major event. The rooms are nice and clean. Comfortable beds and pillows. Staff very nice and helpful. Polite and answered any questions we had even though the event also had helpers for us. Didn't get to try out the hotel food as event also had food for us. Good location, close to train and lots of eating options not too far away.

  Clean and tidy room at a tidy price! Nothing glamourous about this hotel but it serves its purpose. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine with a reasonable choice, although the scrambled eggs were pretty bland. The restaurant/ grill is a bit over priced in my opinion. The room is a good size, plenty of space to put luggage to one side and equipped with ironing board and kettle. My only criticisms would be that the TV is very out of date compared to other hotels, and the shower has sent water all out over the bathroom floor, they need a glass shower screen rather than the cheap shower curtain.
