  Always a joy to go into really friendly staff with great product knowledge, cant fault them.

  I have been using Kent Blaxill as the main supplier for my Decorating business for quite a few years now. The staff are friendly, very knowledgeable about the products and are never too busy to give you the time and advice you need. They often have good value offers on and at any other time, their prices are comparable to the other brand affiliated merchants.

  I went to pick up some pre-ordered paint from Kent Blaxill this morning. I walked into the store and up to the Service Desk behind which were four men shuffling paper. No one spoke to me, although I'm pretty sure all were aware that I was standing in front of them, separated by the desk counter. I said 'Hi' and one or two looked up. I told them that I had come to collect some paint and told them which make, colour and sizes. One of the unsmiling men said "We don't stock that, you have to order it in" and looked down again. I explained that it was ordered, and then a fifth, much younger man came over with the paint. I thanked him, we transacted, I told him that he seemed to be the only staff member with customer services skills. He agreed. This is unacceptable behaviour and I will make a point of going elsewhere in future. It's unusual to be treated this rudely – sort it out guys, you're letting yourselves down!
