  Very basic, functional no frills. For me and a pal coming down to Brighton for drinks it was perfectly fine but certainly not for anything romantic.

  Good place for cheap..but you can find better in Brighton for the same price

  This place is excellent I thoroughly recommend that if you are outside and you want to have a drink of beer that you come in and you sit down and enjoy the wonderful place I asked the staff were the rest of the King is and they said that they do not know I wanted to know if the Kings Arms were kept in a box or perhaps the hounds were kept separate and they did not know across the road there is the Queen's aunts and I wanted to know if you put the Queens Arms and the Kings Arms together then perhaps they could cuddle each other but the people did not know if that was possible I asked them if they would like to have the rest of the King such as the Kings Head or the kings left foot and they said that they have never heard of the kings left footer but if they found it they would really like to put it on display with the Kings Arms and so I said that if I find the kings left foot I will be able to give it to them and they can borrow it and put it in a case they seem to think that this was a good idea

  Amazing place to stay if you want to have fun, great atmosphere downstair during football game, cheap drink and nice staff (big up to Scott)!! Private room was really decent for the price, highly recommended!

  Room had a very odd, dirty smell. Rooms were extremely hot. Toilets and showers were old and dirty. One of each continuously had an out of order sign on it. Not sure if this was for staff use or not. It's extremely loud and not great for sleep. The bar had air conditioning and cheap drinks. However, it appeared to have a much older crowd than most hostels tend to attract. Wouldn't recommend and definitely wouldn't return.
