  Good prices, convenient location just across from Fountainpark where you have restaurants, cafes etc. Staff very helpful and you feel prioritised

  Took my van in for tracking, waited 30mins, paid £50. Drove off and it was still pulling to right. Took it back rechecked and I asked them to do front wheel balance, (£14) Left again, still the same. Went back they again checked wheels and said that the had changed rear wheel to front. Left again, still the same. Immediately returned, said need it for a day, so arranged to rebook later. Front and rear wheels had not been changed as said, how did I know. Rear had a slow and I knew that a nail was in that wheel and used the Puncture Foam as a temp until new tyre. Yes, that nail was still in the rear tyre, which should now be on the front? Took it to a local garage, who balanced the wheel and re-tracked the steering. All fine now. They are incompetent and don't do work they said they have? Won't be back.

  I've been here twice in recent weeks. First time I had to get a and indicator bulb changed - cost £6.95 - it took considerable time and work to access bulb location but was only charged this small amount which was great. Second time was today to get a car battery fitted. Was quoted £157 for lifetime guaranteed battery fully fitted but the guy got it down to £141 which is very reasonable compared to other places for same battery quality.

  I took my car in here for a repair which morphed into additional work to change the timing belt, which i agreed to. This in itself was no problem as far as I was concerned. The fact that the original fault wasn't fixed was a problem though. I set about taking the car back the following morning only for it to die completely because the car hadnt been put back together properly. The AA dropped the car off and it was supposedly fixed free of charge. The engine didnt sound right afterwards and within 4 weeks the engine had destroyed itself. draw your own conclusions but I was a fool to assume that they would be competent mechanics. the guarantee no longer works when you have to undertake a major outlay to prove fault definitively....which exceeds the remaining value of the car.

  got charged £116 for a pair of drop links that I could have purchased online for £45.98 :( also, had my alignment done 6 weeks before and got charged again to have the alignment reset because of the drop links replacement. £230 in total for: a tyre replacement drop links labour alignment I'll be trying somewhere else next time...
