  Lovely hotel and staff. The bar food is great and perfect for casual meetings. Only problem I have is that the Wi-Fi is not free throughout and you need to ask for log in details which is not always easy to find someone to provide a password.

  Excellent friendly staff. Lovely spa. The restaurant provided us with a great evening meal from a menu with many local dishes. Would have been a 5 star review, but the breakfast service lets the hotel down a bit. Cramped tables on which it is difficult to get everything on. Below ours there was a lump of butter which my wife put her bag in (probably got there because the table was too small!), we had to constantly ask staff for various items that had ran out and not been re-stocked - glasses, bowls, orange juice, bacon, eggs, black pudding. I know it can be busy, but the cost of the breakfast should fund enough staff to cover it. It was very tasty though.

  We stopped here on the way home from Scotland. The room was really nice, it was clean and modern. The bed was very comfortable and huge. There is a spa at the hotel which we used on the day we checked out, which was free to use. It had a gym, pool, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, and outside hot tub. The restaurant and bar is nice, and the food is lovely. We were very happy with our stay, we'll definitely be going back

  Staff were friendly. Room was large and the bed was comfortable. I wouldn't recommend the shower if you are over 5"10 as you will struggle to fit under it. Excellent selection of complimentary tea and coffee. No problems with noise. Plenty of parking. Very good breakfast with plenty of choice.

  I love staying at the Lancaster House Hotel! Rooms are always comfortable and clean and the toiletries are of high quality, from the standard room to the luxurious suite! The food is excellent and the menu is has options for every taste. the breakfast is my favourite. There's a buffet and a menu option! I always go for eggs Benedict with ham! The leisure centre has everything you need and it is quite enough to enjoy your workout. My favourite is the spinning bikes that come with videos to help you train. After that, a swim in the pool, sauna or steam room and of course the outdoors hot tub! Very refreshing in the winter! The staff is very friendly and always there to help! As I visit Lancaster very frequently, this hotel feels like home! I recommend it even if you are local and you'd like to go for a nice meal or escape the every day routine with your partner. As I usually travel for business, this hotel has the right atmosphere for meetings over meals or conferences.
