Not the best choice you can make! Before you sign a contract with them, the son (the one called Ash) plays the nice and funny guy. They ask you for a double deposit if you're not an English resident, as YOU are supposed to be the risky partner of the two ! We had to pay cash (2 months' deposit -instead of 1- for a short-term contract of 5 months !). They promised to put the money on a Protected Tenancy Scheme (which is normally compulsory and was clearly written on the contract), but we found out they never did. In the room there was only a bed and two wardrobes. They had promised to add a desk and a chest of drawers. The desk was only a board fixed to the wall, and the chest never came. And then there were problems with the door lock and the electricity (no light in the bathroom to start with); when my daughter moved in, the toilet on her floor was not to be used (too dirty), humidity in a wardrobe, the window in her room never shut properly, and to finish with, there were obviously some rodents somewhere in the kitchen cupboards... In late January, the contract ended, and my daughter gave them her keys back. They found nothing wrong with the inventory (which took place as early as January 24th, 2018), and the son told her he couldn't make the money transfer until the next day. Nearly 2 months later, they still hadn't paid my daughter her deposit back although she had fulfilled all her duties. No explanation ! Either they didn't answer when she asked for her money or they came up with all kinds of excuses (like "we need more details about your bank address", ...). When he did communicate, the Ash guy said "I'll do it tomorrow !" but tomorrow was still to come ! He always called her "Buddy" in his texts but this is not a way to treat a "friend" ! Another trick was "Call my father/my father will take care of that/he's being exceptionnally slow...". Then suddenly he blocked the Whatsapp contact with her. In August last year, we were first put in touch with them through another agency (ISSA Estates, see that name). That was odd from the beginning, but unfortunately we only found out after signing the contract that LETZMOVE had awful reviews. When we phoned ISSA about that, they denied any kind of responsibility. When they heard we were "having some difficulty to get our deposit back", they still did. Apparently we're not an isolated case, we've heard about many similar ones. Student accomodation is Big Business ! LETZMOVE had asked for 2 months' deposit (Ā£790), promised our deposit would be secured on a Protected Tenancy Scheme (which they didn't). THEY were in fact the ones who were not be trusted ! Recently they deleted their Facebook page (which contained a lot of bad reviews). We wrote many mails, reviews, and got in touch with quite a lot of people who (often spontaneously) offered their help and gave us advice. Looking up information on the Net, I now know that tenants CAN get help from different kinds of services. A few days ago they FINALLY contacted my daughter again. The father, in fact. He told her he had been to the bank 5 or 7 times, but had never managed to make an international money transfer (to Brussels, Belgium) ! Can you believe that ? WE came up with another solution, and THEN, it worked !! So, it took us 8 weeks to get that deposit back (+ many mails and contacts) ! I don't think this is a proper way of doing business and treating tenants !

Procrastinators 24 days to retrieve my security deposit. When the law says 10. And my landlord was happy to give it back ASAP. Never answered my notice to vacate nor my several emails regarding the return of my deposit. As far as I know, they did not answer my landlord email either. Blocked many of my phone calls. And twice claimed not being able to hear me. Had to send my bank details 3 times. The only way I was able to get some discussion was via WhatsApp, every 3-4 days. Each time to be told by the son ā€œIā€™m gonna talk to my dad, buddy. And come back to youā€ Always have a good excuse: ā€œI just arrive in the officeā€ ā€œI havenā€™t checked my emailsā€ ā€¦ When we complained publicly on their facebook page they claimed not to be aware of the situation, then deleted the post, and then asked via WhatsApp not to post on facebook If you rent via these guys, beware of the long path ahead. (And their reviews are so bad, they deleted their Facebook page ^^ )

Where do I start? All started off ok as they try to come across professional. Paid our Ā£300 fee and thought we were in good hands. This is where the Nightmare began. Paid our deposit and Rent on time. After many phone calls and visits to the office we finally got our keys as their office is never open and phone calls and emails were never answered. Ash made some excuses how he is busy on a large development in Cardiff but this was not my concern as we had paid good money for a property. We later discovered that our property was also owned by the letting agency, Ashton Cartor Limited which is the company behind Letz Move and father and son outfit of Amir Ashtari and Hamid Ashtari. We finally moved in and there was no inventory and the property was dirty and half the furniture was broken with a heavily soiled mattress. After many phone calls and visits to the office we were promised x y z but nothing was ever done. We had to clean the property ourselves and rectify what we could. No inventory was ever provided, no safety certificates were ever provided and the electrics were in a poor state across the whole property. We moved out 3 weeks ago and still no new on our deposit after many phone calls and emails. Letz move is the worst letting agency we have ever come across. Run by Ash (Amir Ashtarti) and Hamid his father. Ash is pretentious individual who likes to boost about his achievements as a developer. In reality he scams tenants for their deposits and agency fee so he can drive around in his Merc and front a life style he obviously can not afford . Hamid Ashtari is the same he will give you a load of lies and tell you what you want to hear but does not follow up nothing. Both father and son just gave us lies throughout our whole tenancy and are rude angry individuals and will turn their back to you as soon as any problems arise. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!! If you have been unlucky enough to rent from Letz Move then we seriously suggest you look else where and avoid yourself disappointment and heartache. There are much better more professional Letting agencies out there.

Do not rent with Letz Move in Cardiff. There is only the two men and yet there is absolutely no organization with who's dealing with you, it is always the other person. They will never answer your calls or emails. I paid my agency fee of Ā£300, they told me last minute that I couldn't rent the flat for an insufficient reason. Ever since this I have called and emailed and I am yet to receive my money back.

Incompetent, unprofessional... I could go on indefinitely. They give a good initial impression, but it's all a facade. There are plenty of good letting agents in Cardiff. Avoid this one at all costs.
