  Good for some morning breakfasts, service is a tad slow but that's not a bother to me.

  This restaurant is now longer Little Chef but run under another name which all the staff pronounce differently. Basically it is either Ezy or Zy Dinner, I never did find the correct name . The restaurant has NO signs up from the road show it is there so unless you have used it in the past you would not be aware that it is tucked away behind Burger King. The restaurant itself is the same as the little Chef with the exception of a few things. Obviously all little Chef logo’s have been removed but no name or restaurant name has been put in its place and from the outside it looks like a shell. The menu is the same as the little chef they have just changed a few of the names so it doesn’t look the same for copyright reasons. They DONT USE HEATING. When I went in it was 4c outside and colder inside. The people that where in there sat there in 🧥 coats. Staff- The staff are very loud and very bored as there is not a lot for them to do and by the looks of it morale is rock bottom. At one point I was the only customer in the restaurant and I couldn’t even here my phone 📞 over the noise the staff where making at the till ( Chef, 2 waiting staff and a member of Burger King staff from next door all gathered at the till ). In general I think this restaurant has had its hay day and is currently relying on customers from the Travelodge next door and the odd one stopping by from the A11. In its hay day this restaurant used to be full every day on a weekend not only with travellers but with locals coming for the good food and company. Sadly faced with a cold restaurant a copied menu and loud staff with low morale I think these times have passed. This was a one off visit for me and price range I won’t be company back. I have just been charged £11.75 for an early starter and 2 coffee’s. This is a sad day for this restaurant which has come to the end of its peak times.

  Visited this restaurant today for a quick lunch with my girlfriend. Overall a somewhat tired looking establishment, could use a good dose of TLC. We both ordered the early bird breakfast, one with toast and one with fried bread. When the food was delivered, my girlfriend asked for butter for her fried bread (now whilst some might find that unusual, that doesn't excuse what happened next). Waitress went back to the kitchen hatch to get some butter, annoucing it across the restaurant. When she arrived at the kitchen hatch, both the waitress and chef were insulting my girlfriends preference, within earshot and loudly enough for the rest of the restaurant to hear. Waitress then brought the butter over, and returned to the kitchen gantry to continue insulting her preference of butter, all within earshot. Food was acceptable, and service times weren't bad but the unprofessionalism displayed by the staff was woeful. Moral of this story, don't order or ask for anything slightly unusual unless you want it to be insulted and discussed within earshot of yourselves and other customers.

  Dirty , dirty ,cold and dirty. Dishwasher not cleaned, hence food particles stuck to crockery. Dirty pigs

  Dreadfully tired place in need of total refurbishment. You are greeted by the sight of the upholstery on the bench seating completely shredded and the foam filling bulging out. There was a smell of sewage which pervaded the place, it got stronger every time someone opened the toilet door. Toilets filthy and also need refitting. Feel a bit sorry for the staff who have to work here, but they could at least keep the toilets clean! I had a cup of tea and a coffee, both OK. Didn't sample the food.
