  Only been once for Sunday lunch but was the best ever. Interesting mining history and corridor to toilets made to look like a mine shaft. Not easy to find and very popular. Parking no problem.

  The food was decent. A group of 15 of us ate, didn't hear any complaints from anyone. We were allocated a room to ourselves due to the size of our party. Enjoyable atmosphere, nice decor. 4 stars not 5 because a few thought the service a little slow, though I appreciated the gap between courses. A little more light would be welcome outside as the pavement back to the car is almost non existent, and as a group we ended up on the road. Well done with the food, nice friendly staff, good prices for Christmas Dinner would recommended.
