We live 5 minutes away and there is so much snow we thought “lets eat out” it will be so quiet. Wandered down Blossom street and saw the restaurant was open after the re-furb. It was the most gorgeous food, hubby had seafood pasta I had pasta with chilli and pesto. The focaccia bread with olives, tomato and onion was the most delicious I think I’ve ever tasted! Absolute gem of a restaurant and the service was superb!

No longer serving pizzas. They have a range of pasta dishes plus some chicken and steak options. Some seafood and veggie dishes. Service is a bit hit and miss but the food tastes very good

Lo Spuntino has just undergone a full refurbishment and re-invented itself as an Italian wine & tapas bar with a select menu of Italian dishes. Four of us ate there last night, we had a sharing board and Italian meatballs for starters, followed by 2 steak dishes, a chicken and a pasta dish, all of which were delicious. Spuntino served excellent food before, now it has the trendy chic decor to match. Bravo.

Excellent food, friendly staff, with a cosy atmosphere. The only thing keeping it from five stars is that it tends to be a little on the cold side (the building, not the food).

Quaint and welcoming. The staff are polite and courteous. The dining area is clean and pleasant with a nice Italian feel to it all. The food although tasty just lacked a little personality. Salad was browning on edges and looked as though it was prepared a while ago. Spinach with Mozzarella looked very much like the frozen type that comes ready shredded in small ball like clumps. Don't get me wrong it's far from terrible on the contrary I would eat there again. The let down was that it is a family non franchise restaurant and this I hoped would give the food the love and individual touch that is harder to find these days.
