  Ideal for a weekend away (there were 8 of us), Lower Buckhorn a little remote, but great if you just want to walk and relax as we did. Warm welcome from our hosts who stressed we had the run of the house for whatever we wanted to do. Great house centered on the big kitchen with its aga cooker keeping everything warm. Comfortable bedrooms, massive dining room which accommodated us all easily and cozy sitting room with a log burner to finish everything off.

  Spent a week at the b&b and enjoyed our stay, the house was nicely situated near Ludlow and a prime location for walks, the house itself is rather old however contains all modern conveniences. Staying within the house feels rather intrusive however as it is renovated with a lot of personal decorations including fox heads on frames giving the house an eerie feel. The wifi too is very weak however still serviceable.

  Would never deal with this person. We had booked a Sunday lunch for my parents 65th Wedding Anniversary for our weekend away at the Lodge, Canon Pyon. Unfortunately my father passed away on the Friday, the day we were to leave. I rang Carolyn to cancel but she was not in the country and was returning on the Saturday. I left a message with her husband, Was surprised to find we had been charged the full £45 a head us all. She had previoulsy told me that she buys all her ingredients fresh so I knew not all foods had been bought. We were expecting to pay for the food bought and cooked already (cake, dessert etc) and also for the staff who would not be needed plus some extra for loss of earnings, but was so shocked she wanted money for the foods she hadn't bought. A nice little £1100 for her! Not a very nice person
