::Been here a few times now. Frequently good and they're always quick to put things right when not. Word of warning: ask for a move downstairs if they put you on the top floor of c wing as water pressure very low in shower and basin - and main heavy plant on or in roof is more audible than elsewhere.

::My room got cleaned everyday! Fresh set of towels every day AND it was vacuumed regularly. The reception staff is VERY friendly.. Staying in an old castle made it an extra special stay.

::Had a fantastic stay at Malmaison. Staff were exceptional, and my girlfriend hasn't stopped reminiscing the mattress! The building and grounds, interior, and food and drink were all well worth the experience. Finally, fantastic value for money. Thanks!

::An interesting hotel in a a very novel setting. I found it quite expensive and not particularly good value but prices are made clear so is up to the individual. Staff were very pleasant and professional. Have only given 3 starts because of the very crazy lack of parking situation. I wish they had of explained this to me when I booked. There is absolutely no where near enough parking for the amount of rooms they have. I had to park as the super bus public car park down the road and carry our stuff up and then keep paying. Very silly situation for an upmarket hotel I think

::The building is incredible... I was lured in for £5 cocktails. I wouldn't return for them. It's a lovely venue but wasn't keen on the drinks and took ages to get served. The food smells amazing though so I may return to eat and possibly sleep as I just love the castle and its history!
