  This store is due to be closing down. Amazon is your best friend. I always find that it is cheaper to buy any product Maplin sells on either Amazon or eBay, or in general, online stores. Using Google shopping you can easily find these products cheaper. I'm not sure that Maplin is still relevant at it's prices in 2018.

  Staff are unhelpful and darn right rude. Woodgreen branch just unhelpful. Emmm😞 maybe the lack of customer care could be one of the issues that played a factor to their dimize. RIP maplin

  Probably the most expensive electrical shop in the entire world! The products are better than the ones at Poundland but that doesn't mean we should have to pay five times as much! My stars are only for the staff - very helpful!

  I came to buy some things second time willing to get what I need. First time bough a lamp bold and after 10 min came back to return it. I even did not take it out of the paper cover (box). Staff said it`s been used before and it took ages to prove my words I took a look and it was used for sure, so they sold it used lamp bold and after argued with me. Second time I got batteries and it looked fine as expired date till 06.2018, but as soon I put them in to device it became flat as I had before replacement. I am going to give them back and hope this time it will be less arguing .
