  I left the possessions in my house with Mccarthy's for several months. When they returned I found many small items were missing and it looked like some of the storage boxes had been opened and resealed. I am still discovering items missing. When I questioned this with Mccarthy's they said they would investigate but since then I have heard nothing. I would not recommend them to anyone for storage.

  After initially posting a very poor review on here after a bad experience with pricing and insurance, I have amended the review to reflect the excellent response from the company to address my concerns. I was promptly contacted by a member of the senior management who discussed my concerns and conducted an internal investigation. Following this, she came back to me within 24 hours with a detailed explanation covering the reasons for the issues, and offered a sincere apology for the miscommunication that led to my review. In terms of the service, the staff were very friendly, the premises was very clean and secure, and the access was fantastic. Other than my initial concern over the pricing, which has now been addressed, I have no complaints about the service whatsoever and would recommend it to others. (Wakefield branch)
