  Fabulous hotel found by accident via Google search for hotels near Robert Gordon University. The superior room was excellent. Super King sized bed with deep mattress and thick mattress topper. Slept like a log. Breakfast was amazing with a wide range of hot and cold buffet items and a made to order menu with eggs Benedict and other items. Swimming pool was a nice temperature and jaccuzi made you feel relaxed. Will definitely return.

  Staff were very pleasant, the food was excellent, the rooms were as you would expect clean, comfortable and well kept. The breakfast was in my opinion top notch, good selection and plenty of it. Can't beat a place that serves a a proper start to the day.

  We have a wonderful time at this hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious and the staff are very friendly. Driving up and seeing the castle look was impressive. It's also nice being out of Aberdeen where you have a little more privacy and it's very quiet. The spa is well staffed and they do great massage and manicures. Also really nice to have a small refrigerator to store snacks for those late-night cravings

  Attended for professional event. 3 night stay including on site conference and banqueting. Beautiful location, facilities are high standard (although a lick of paint wouldn't go amiss in some areas). Food is good and service is excellent. Travellers tip: you would need a car (or a taxi) to get here!

  Fantastic hotel to visit if you have dogs. The rooms for those with dogs are at the back of the hotel, with a door that provides access directly to the grass and wooded areas behind the hotel. Ideal for last pees. The room was lovely and unlike many hotels, the rooms where dogs are allowed are to a very high standard and have been maintained. The food in the restaurant was really good and the waiting staff were attentive, though not intrusive. The duck and apple crumble souffle were superb. The hotel itself is beautiful. The main building has retained it's grandeur of once being a stately home. Thoroughly recommend.
