It was so nice! The staff are lovely and the food is amazing. There are so many options at breakfast and the rooms are spacious. I slept very well on the both nights I was there. Highly recommended!

I've never actually slept here but I have been here to give blood multiple times and from what I have seen it is quiet an amazing place. They have done well decorating the place, even the toilets are quiet nice and they look to be worth the price they charge. I look forward to staying here in the future.

Have used the Mercure for numerous occasions. I have stayed in the hotel in a very nice and well equipped and comfortable room. I have booked and attended a works Christmas lunch in the restaurant which was a very nice meal and was far superior to some places we have attended. We have booked and used their meeting rooms and presentation facilities which were very good and we were waited on hand and foot all day. We have also organised and held an evening event for 250 which was catered for superbly by the hotel and was a fantastic evening. They have many strings to their bow and can cater for pretty much every thing you may throw at them and this all possible due to what appear to be a fantastic set of staff who are polite, courteous and are always willing to help. I have never been let down by the Mercure and would highly recommend you give them a go.

I stay in a lot of hotels and this one is one of the dirtiest and poorly maintained I've had the displeasure of visiting, in particular the exterior. Furnishings are in desperate need of repairs and the whole building just has an air of feeling neglected and uncared for (see pictures). Food is nice though.

Nice hotel, decor slightly dated but room was comfortable and had everything that you could need. Staff were attentive from the point of booking in to when we left. All the food served here was lovely. Only one small criticism, it would be good to have a dedicated children's menu. Big plus is the use of the swimming pool, the kids loved it!
