  dears. i please would you be goud enough to expressed only short comments world as world in syria is not war classic only warfare against who dears one question for thousands answers dears 2011/2018 today warfare and bloodshed in syria i never undestand thank you for your sincerely trust

  I would like someone that is able to tell me  how at the age of 18 on the 28th of January1945 my father joined the Roual Navy did his training and went in the war with Europe and Japan. I applied for his war medal to be told by the Ministry of defence that my father Alfred Arrowsmith service record shows that he joined the Royal Navy on the 10th of May 1945 WHICH WAS TWO YEARS AFTER THE WAR IN EUROPE WAS OVER !!!!!!  SO THE MINISTRY OF DEFENCE THINK THAT THE WAR WAS OVER IN 1943 ..PLEASE TRY TELLING THAT TO ALL THE FAMILY'S THAT LOST THERE LOVED ONES BETWEEN 1943 AND 1945  . This letter is signed by David Mc Gargett from the MOD MEDALS OFFICE, WILL SOMEONE TELL HIM HE'S NOT FIT FOR THE JOB HE'S MADE MY FATHERS NAME SCARED ON MY MIND KNOWING MY FATHER WENT INTO THE NAVY AS HE WAS COMING TO 18 YEARS OF AGE IN JANUARY 1945 , SENDING HIS PAPERS AND PICTURES OF HIM IN THE NAVY AND THEY CANNOT EVEN GET THE DATE OF THE WAR RIGHT THERE'S NO HOPE OF ME GETTING THIS MEDAL WHEN THE MINISTRY OF DEFENCE DONT EVEN KNOW WHEN THE WAR FINISHED.
