  Very convenient and nicely laid out so things are easy to find. Never too crowded even at rush hour as it's quite spacious.

  Small M&S foodstore with things I wanted, despite the absence of its bakery corner. Friendly staff as always.

  Not a great M&S. The shop is quite large but has lots of wasted space, and seems to have an odd focus in terms of its product range - rather than have lots of foodstuffs which are good for when you're returning home from work and want to grab something for tea, or having lots of sandwiches and snacks for when you're off on your travels they seem to have an odd preference for stocking things like big tins of biscuits and packs of meringues. Their range of ready meals stocked in this shop is very poor indeed, and you'd be better heading to the small M&S Food in Piccadilly Gardens, which is similar to this and still not great but at least it has a better selection of products, or go the whole hog and go to the big M&S at the bottom of Market Street.
