  The staff in the Nationwide branch at Stockton are the most unhelpful l have ever dealt with. The branch does not have a cash machine inside the building, only on the main street. They refuse to take cash over the counter and send you to the machine outside. How long does it take for them to take the cash and update your account? On my last visit there were two cashiers, no one else in the branch and I was still directed onto the main street to deposit my cash, leaving the cashiers sitting there doing nothing. Other branches at Redcar, Middlesbrough and Darlington are more than happy to take my cash in branch. It just appears to be Stockton that are awkward and not customer friendly. My advice would be to go to one of the other branches.
