  As a recovering cancer patient who has recently moved to Norfolk I had my first check up/review today at NNUH. Staff were friendly and helpful. All details had been transferred and new consultant was up to speed on my case. Had lunch in the restaurant which was lovely and like the parts of the hospital we saw - very clean (including the grounds which were immaculate).

  Absolute shambles, the Consultant won’t ring you back, secretary won’t discuss findings “as she’s not medically qualified to do so”,get told one piece of information from one member of staff and another from a different member, surely it’s not difficult to read a file. Been waiting 4 weeks for a lympth node biopsy results yet Mark Davies, the Chief Executive tell me they are meeting thr NHS 2 week Cance path deadline. Put a complaint into them, they take over a month to investigate Mark Davies replies, but doesn’t want you to reply to him! who is supposed to be the Chief Executive of the hospital, not surprised it’s in a mess, and all he can come back with is ‘assume’ so he hasn’t done any investigation at all. I have tried to go private but the same consultant works for Spire hospital, how does that work. They are complaining about doing 70 hour weeks, we’ll if I had two jobs so would I. If they had one job then they could concentrate on that a the NHS would be a better place! Banging my head against a brick wall with them all I think press is the next place!

  Am fed up with hearing awful media regarding ambulance /nnuh . My daughter was rushed into a&e unconscious with bacterial meningitis!! She was ventilated and sent to if icu . The hospital liased with addenbrooks. She since made a full recovery !! Thank you . 2 + weeks in hospital and we owe them her life !!

  Cant thank Mr England and the rest of the team enough for all the help they provided my daughter with her serious intestinal problems. They never gave up trying to find the cause of the problem and finally fixed her after a very long procedure. She has gone from a very frail unwell child to a very health robust young girl full of colour back in her cheeks. Its difficult to express our gratitude for all they have done, but would like to thank everyone involved from all the nurses, Doctors and Consultants for all the help and were caring and kind throughout the ordeal.
