  Lovely bar restaurant. Service and food excellent. Owner took the time to have a long chat despite being very busy. I can recommend the ribeye and malbec. One of the only reasonably priced places to eat in town.

  Visiting from Texas, and this has been the best food by far. Price is fair and service is excellent. I could have eaten my weight in the hagis balls, the lamb was very tender and the desert was excellent.

  Great mushroom soup,best I've ever had. However my order was partially fulfilled and I had to remind the staff about my second course. Basic listening skills lacking.

  We dropped in for dinner and the most positive part of our visit was the staff. They were quite friendly. Our meals were fine but lacked on a few fronts. The batter on the fish was quite heavy and the coleslaw was drowned in dressing. The gnocchi was nice but the portion size was closer to an entree than main. Overall it was OK.

  Nice wee bar with good friendly attentive staff. Good range of ales and spirits. They have a nice menu, relatively inexpensive but good meals - tasty and wholesome. Can be pretty busy especially at weekends. Location makes it easy to get there...and out.. eventually!😉😂
