  Only called in for a quick drink. The pub was empty. No one behind the bar. No heating on and it was freezing cold. Had to sit wearing our coats. My packet of crisps had a use by date of 10th February 2018. So many a month out of date. Disappointing as this used to be a great pub.

  Quick service, fair price. Okay for a quick bite to eat.

  Went last Sunday 11th. It was absolutely freezing. Hardly anyone in there. It was so cold we decided to eat elsewhere. Not what you want when it's freezing outside. It's a shame as it used to be a great place to go.

  Went on a Tuesday lunchtime to eat. Hardly anybody there so no atmosphere. Bar unattended most of the time so had to wait each time I wanted something. Food was lukewarm. Food waiter was courteous and helpful though. Overall not impressed and don't think it's a good ambassador for the sizzling brand. Was much better when it used to be a crown carvery.
