  Wide range of supplies for the size of the place! cut new keys for me in a matter of minutes. Very helpful, able to answer all my questions about fitting a London bar and additional home security measures, friendly shop assistants and good small talk. reasonable prices

  Well-stocked shop run by helpful and knowledgable staff. I used them to get some timber cut to size which saved me a lot of bother. Recommended.

  I've been going to Ocean Builders Suppliers with different DIY questions over the last 10 years and have always found the staff extremely helpful, full of good and honest advice. It's like a treasure box, where you can find all sorts of items you would not know where to get otherwise. It's such a nice experience to talk to someone who knows exactly what you are trying to do and is able to provide the material as well as the expertise. Long may small shops like this survive!

  Ocean is a 'goldmine' on Salmon Lane, I am very pleased that it is on the corner of my street. The owner is a 'character'. If you suspect you are a fool, by the time you leave the shop you will have had your suspicions fully confirmed. But there is no job you are about to do, that he hasn't done a dozen times already. So not only will he supply exactly the tools and materials you need for the job, but also, all the inside knowledge you need for success. That is a rare thing in this internet age. So, enter the shop aware that you are indeed a fool, but after a few visits, you will be accepted as a promising pupil!
