  I have been a customer for a number of years and have had a number of check-ups and hygienist appointments. The clinical staff are excellent and the admin staff friendly and helpful (and nice about missed appointments). I only drop a star because it can take a while to get through by phone and messages are not always picked up or answered.

  I have NEVER had an issue going to Ocean Dental. I followed my dentist that I have had for over 20 years here, and had another dentist when my own dentist was away when I had a filling fall out and he was excellent as well. And my hygienist is very personable, most accommodating and does an excellent job cleaning my teeth. I will continue going here even though it is now a bit of a distance from where I live.

  I have been trying to contact this service as a professional on behalf of one of my clients who had been treated badly there. But each time I tried to phone the dental practice up I heard the message say that 'the person is currently not available?' The working hours are from 8:30 am so I am really confused and frustrated... I wonder, do they ever read this kind of feedback so they could improve their service? It seems that nobody cares...

  Giving two generous stars because I have been here previously and had no problems. However today I encountered a very rude dentist who threatened to refuse to check my teeth at all on an emergency appointment, simply because I said I would make a complaint if he didn't check both sides. He immediately got very defensive, pointed his finger at me (while accusing me of pointing my finger at him?!) and spoke to me in a rude tone that is not befitting of a professional at all. I have no doubt there are good dentists here, but do avoid Mr. Steas if you can. The practice manager had nothing to say when I complained; just that there are two sides to every story, and I should make sure I always see a different dentist in future. Highly unhelpful.

  I have had a phobia of dentists since a bad experience years ago I broke my front tooth New Year's Eve didn't have a dentist every where was a 5/6 month wait until I rang ocean dentist .. They fitted me in straight away and started my treatment immediately... Dennis my dentist is great so calm and explains everything beforehand .. I have been so impressed with the treatment I'm receiving and finally get my new tooth in on Thursday and actually looking forward to going there!!!! The receptionists are lovely very friendly and helpful this is the first time I have felt comfortable about going to the dentist .. Will be using these forever from now on !!
