::Zero charm, poor service, dull menu and a Β£30 steak that was inedible... that pretty much sums up a bad experience I had with my family and in-laws yesterday. The first thing you will notice as you walk in is that the charm of a historic London hotel has been totally ripped out and replaced by "You could be in Dubai" mirrors and fake hotel interior. Next you will see that you are actually eating in an extension of the lobby, then you will ask a few times for menus as the 7 staff hang around the till chatting. It goes on. The Menu equally could come from any "OK" hotel anywhere in the world (read Caeser salad, burgers, smoked salmon and badly cooked steak)- infact the only thing that sets it apart is the phenomenally bad level of staff training, which you usually would not find in a decent hotel. The staircase in the hotel (door next to the loo) has managed to escape the more recent renovation and is still quite cool. Good luck!

::Waited 30 minutes for food. 3 different menus that were completely confusing. Waiters and staff ignored us. We ended up leaving and didn't even pay because they didn't even respond to us asking if we should pay. Never even got my food. Staff was clueless.
