  This site is not a hotel anymore. It is a 130 year old building (in fairly good condition) that has had several changes in ownership over many years. These days, it is functioning as a student accommodation and I found it to be extremely convenient in terms of location and rent.

  Stayed here a couple of times now for student reunions and nights out. Great place, really helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Old looking place as it is an old building but still well kept. Nice bar. Great for a cost effective place to stay in the city centre.

  Clean, comfortable, reasonable price close to the city centre and good transport links. However, no guaranteed parking, and not wheelchair friendly. I thought I had booked bnb through laterooms, turns out price was bed only and breakfast was extra. I arrived back to my room about 1am and tried to be quiet. The guys in the room next door came back at 2am and didn't even try. Very loud, very echoey. Again at 3am and then they left at 6am with more noise.

  Room at short notice, very accommodating but room cold and with a 1 year old this was not ideal

  Allowing that the hotel is an old building, ALL hotels have problems, but at Park Hotel, the staff's manor and attention, more than make up for any problems that you may have. Non of them could be more helpful, and even though the menu may be limited, the food is great and plenty of it. We have stayed their 3 times, and will be going back again.
