  Professional and polite in all ways. We moved to a new house in York and Peter very informative regarding the problems and solutions for the locks that needed sorting out... .. Believe it was a fair price as the 2 new locks he fitted work fine (1 front door and 1 yale) Took approx 2 hours work and bill was £120

  Absolutely outstanding! A godsend. Peter was able to rescue me when I was locked out of a modern and very secure house. He expertly removed the lock from a little-used patio door, and was able to replace it quickly and very tidily on the spot. He arrived within 20-30 minutes of my calling him (and I'm in a suburb of York) and his friendly, calm, and very competent manner put me immediately at ease. I was so pleased and relieved to find such skilled and excellent service at a very reasonable fee, and I greatly appreciated Peter's kind and friendly manner in what was, for me, a stressful situation. I recommend Peter Eaves Locksmith in the highest possible terms.

  Having discovered that I was locked out of my house on a bank holiday Monday, I gave Peter a call and he turned up half an hour later. I was indoors within 30 seconds of him starting work. It was reassuring that he asked me to prove my identity, and also prove a connection to the house, before he started - I showed him a utility bill once inside. He also checked the lock over after to make sure that it was in good working order etc.. Peter himself was very personable and we chatted whilst he wrote up the invoice. I thoroughly recommend him if you find yourself in a similar situation. Excellent service, and with a smile; wins every time!

  We had to have window locks and a new external door lock fitted as there were no keys in the new house we moved to. Peter arrived and I immediately felt at ease and that he was going to do a good job for us (and not rip us off!). The work he did was excellent and he went above and beyond too, resolving some issues with stuck/painted closed doors and windows, without any fuss whatsoever. He also left no mess behind (he brought his own vacuum!) Thanks Peter
