  A small, cosy, and friendly establishment with reasonable prices for membership and a wide variety of new and old books. You're always sure of a smile - and refreshments if you're lucky. Great volunteering opportunity for local university students and adults alike.

  An avant-garde Plymouth Writers Group in a traditional setting. Many themes are explored from classic short stories to contemporary poetry and even Haiku, Haibun and Tanka. Membership of the library is now recommended in order to secure a place (which is more cost-effective as there is no charge for attending the Writers Group). As an extra, all library members are encouraged to take advantage of the social angle which the Writers are involved in, from the occasional workshop to Literary Lectures around the city.
