Terrible service! Me and my girlfriend were looking for a engagement ring, one of the ladies came over straight away to show us the collections. Products where good quality with GIA certificates which is what I'm looking for, but then suddenly an Asian girl I believe supervisor came to the lady who was serving us said something to her privately and that was it they wanted to quickly finish with us asked fo my email address so they can send me a details discussed in the shop, but I never received any emails whatsoever! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

With out doubt the worst buying experience I have had. I bought my girlfriend an engagement ring from Pravins, which looked beautiful, the staff where helpful and charming enough to encouraged me to spend £500 over my initial budget. Anyway she said yes and loved the ring, we then had to send the ring off to be resized which came back, fitted and we were happy. That same week my now fiancee tried taken the ring off and noticed the ring had severely misshapen and on closer inspection noticed the hallmark was now not there. Confident Pravins would honour their 1 years warranty and faulty goods I took it make to speak to them. After the company analysing this ring for around 4 weeks, they then returned it along with a note saying my girlfriend and caught the ring on something or squashed it and therefore voids the warranty is our fault, by the way it will cost £750 to fix, (ring cost £2400). My girlfriend was distraught and the ring stayed in the draw untill we could resolve. After quite a few letters and getting second opinions from jewellers we continued to try and get Pravins to take responsibility, which they would not do and continued to ignore the fact that the hallmark has somehow disappeared. The manager in the store also had the cheek to try and tell it was wear and tear, comparing it to a ring she had on her finger for over 15 years! (girlfriend had ring on her finger for 1-2 weeks max). Also the sales woman who sold me the ring would hide at the back of the shop every time I would enter, very childish. After a year of Pravins refusing to help, all they offered was a 'reduced' price of £350 to fix the ring. Never wanting to give this terrible company a £1 I found a very reputable jeweller in Southampton that offered to fix the ring FOR £120!!! This was £120 fixed, unless the diamond was compromised. So if your thinking of shopping at Pravins, please dont, do not get sucked into the sales smiles and sparkling shop, keep your money and go somewhere else. The only reason I have clicked one star is because I couldn't post without doing so.

Products are great, staff are terrible. I was stood waiting for 10 minutes, the girls in Pravins seemed more interested in their own reflections and conversations between themselves than serving anyone after being totally unprofessional, they then become very pushy for me to purchase products I did not want that were way out of my price range, I was made to feel very uncomfortable and was really disappointed by the store and will not be returning. The staff have let his brand down I gave this store 1 star because I couldn't give it lower

My fiancee and I have bought an engagement ring and two wedding rings from here. The designs are very on trend and look a lot more expensive than they are! The service has been top rate with the staff being really friendly and helpful...

Myself and my Wife have had a brilliant experience at Pravins. I was lost buying our engagement ring and they where very helpful explaining the "4 C's" of diamonds. I was sceptical so walked away and looked at other high street retailers. However with the knowledge I now had I quizzed the other shops and Pravins were right! It might have costed a bit more but the diamond is far better quality and that's what the wife deserves. I was so impressed we even went back and purchased matching wedding rings. A big thank you to Fiona at Southampton Pravins who was with us from engagement to wedding rings. Well recommended! And to add they'll clean the rings for free for life plus you get free drinks 😉
