  Great place to stay, stayed here a few times when driving down south. Clean and situated just off motorway. Nice pub attached also.

  Friendly helpful . Was short staff . But still had a good meal .. staff was coupling. As well as they good. And done a good job .

  The premier inn Lancaster is perfectly situated in Lancaster for pleasure and business visits. The rooms as usual are very clean, tidy and full of amenities. The hotel has a pub on site which is good value for money.

  Car park was very busy and pleased we got there early as those arriving later could not get parked. We were put on the 3rd floor and lift was out of order found it hard going up all the stairs as l am disabled. Corridors were smelly once inside room it smelt foisty especially the bathroom. Bed was very comfortable. Staff were pleasant. Went into the brewers fayre next to it service very slow. Wanted gluten free vegetarian food waited for someone to bring the book that contained all ingredients on their menu out to us nobody did we had to ask again. Not a lot of choice for veggie gluten free had to pick a few sides asked for them on one plate to make a meal up. When it eventually came out it was barely warm. Will not be returning again. Very disappointing. Next time will try Holiday Inn across the road.

  Lift was out of order when we arrived and I doubt it will be fixed before we go. As my wife is asthmatic climbing to the second floor proved difficult (although we did receive assistance with the baggage, to be fair. However we weren't offered any change to a ground floor room. For a place this size to only have one lift is surprising. To have it out of order for (at least) four days is really not acceptable. On the up-side rooms were clean and comfortable and the place very quiet. It was again let down by the lack of an intercom phone and worse still no air conditioning. Room temperature is achieved by wall thermostat and electric wall heater, floor-standing fan or opening a window ! I guess you get what you pay for and in that sense the place delivers - fairly standard chain hotel fare - but the lift being out of service and no air-con wasn't up to standards you'd expect. Would we stay here again? Yes but the life better work!
