  A fairly good Premier Inn, located close to town and the conference centre. Breakfast was decent although you have to order anything cooked when you sit down. Occasionally lacking in options for dinner as some items are sold out but food fairly good !

  Arrived 8.10pm. No one came to provide a table even though sign said to wait to be seated. Had to go looking for waiter who told me to wait as he was on his own. Finally got a seat, chair dirty and table not cleaned. Had to ask waiter who arrived with cutlery to clean the table first. Took order finally and after 20 minutes came back to ask what we had ordered as kitchen didn't know!! Had to go through order again with him. 20 minutes after that still waiting for on food, and no drinks either!! Very poor service and disappointed with Premier inn whose motto is to out the customer first. What a joke!! Waiter said he was on his own, quite odd for a Premier Inn restaurant. I'm writing review while still waiting for the food. It's now 9pm and still no drinks and no food and no cutlery!! I won't be back. Not recommended. If I could give no stars I would. Having said that the waiter was friendly which was the only plus side of this shocking level of service. I was here about six months ago and service was equally slow.

  Service st the bar and bar food no we're near acceptable!! Putting breakfast tables out in front of the bar at 21:00 not great either. If the place was busy it would have been a bigger disaster ....

  Attended for early tea, arrived around 4pm, two other tables occupied already. Had to wait to be seated, two staff members walked past us, one went to the bar area, the other had her coat on and shouted to other staff she'd be back in about 15 minutes. When seated with menus in hand, the table behind us took priority over he order as it required clearing. Service is always slow in our experience so we never go there unless we have time to kill. The food is good enough quality, plenty of choice, but we usually only go when we have a voucher for money off. it's about time the owners brought in more staff, refurbished the décor to clean the place up. Curtains hang off the rails and chair seats are quite stained. Having said all that those staff working are very friendly and do as much as they can to make sure your meal is a pleasant affair. It's handy for us when grocery shopping with McDonald's our only other option.

  First and foremost I must mention how wonderful the staff were during our short visit (2 nights). Special mention goes to ROBERTA on reception who went above and beyond for us on several occasions. However all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Now onto the bad; the food was absolutely terrible. We had a dinner that we had to return and even the replacement meal was bad. Also the breakfast wasn’t great either. Again the staff were great (apart from the chef). Also the room was a bit cold and the heater was very loud so couldn’t sleep with it on (although we are light sleepers). The shower too was poor and ran out of water at one point.
