  Good hotel centrally located near to the arena. Normally well priced. The staff are friendly. The rooms are generous and beds really comfortable. No Aircon at time of posting (02/2018) which might be an issue if Manchester gets a warm spell (!) But not an issue so far. Worth booking a table if you want an evening meal as can get busy. The breakfasts are fine and they'll do you stuff like porridge, omelette or poached eggs if you ask when you go in for breakfast. If you've got some ironing to do then ask at reception when you check in for an iron and ironing board. When they're busy they sometimes run out of these so you may need to wait for one to be made available. If this hotel is booked up then another good bet is the Holiday Inn Express - it's a little further away from the arena but a decent hotel at a reasonable price.

  Room was fine as usual.. reasonably priced the outside of the building was a bit tired looking. Inside fine tho, helpful staff on reception. However the bar staff at the end of the night were chronic, 2 staff on and neither spoke fluent English. We asked for the Gin specials that were advertised and got drinks that were nothing like. Orange instead of mango or similar (can't actually remember the exact details) VERY disappointed though.

  Very reasonable prices and breakfast included too! Wow! Rooms nice sized and beds massive. Bedroom and bathroom spotlessly clean. Bed so comfy, slept like a baby. 😀

  Really grand experience! Given the choice of higher or lower floor was fantastic! Staff where amazing, really kind, friendly, helpful and just gave an all round easy stay. Nice rooms with the simple Premier Inn style. The views from this hotel where actually really cool but this experience was dampened by the state of the windows. I really wouldn’t complain though overall a fantastic. Highly recommend.

  Usually I am happy with my stays at Premier Inn but this time I was a bit disappointed. The location of the hotel is very big, only a 5 minute walk from the main road and the Arndale shopping centre. The rooms are spacious but the heating left much to be desired with a small electric heater having been placed in the room but it did not help much. Check in was also quite normal without any extra service and when I asked if a late check out was available I was told no immediately without any effort made to try and accommodate my request and all I needed was an extra hour. The beds are very comfortable so I did get a very good night's sleep so that is great obviously. With a bit more attention to detail the experience could be much better.
