  I paid £69 for an overnight, midweek stay in a comfortable room, with breakfast. And I really can't fault it. Sure, I'd have liked a sea view which, for an extra £30 I could've got, but it wasn't worth it for one night. It's on the sea front with 2 choices of restaurants to choose from attached to the hotel. Staff were friendly, the hotel was clean and well decorated, and breakfast was delicious. As I said, I really can't fault it.

  Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here at the Roker Hotel. The room was very nice and spacious; clean too. I had a hotdog in the restaurant and it was honestly one of the best hotdogs I'd ever eaten. They have their own distillery onsite, and a wide selection of ales (hand pulls) and also craft beers on tap. Staff were all extremely friendly. Great view from outside the hotel, and right on the promenade if you fancy a walk. Not far from town also, and more restaurants down the road if you fancy something different. Would definitely stay here again.

  Very nice hotel, staying here on business and so far I'm very impressed. Staff are very friendly and extremely helpful, the room is well equipped and very clean and tidy. Lovely sea views from the restaurant.

  Lovely hotel with very pleasant staff. Rooms clean and nicely decorated in a nautical theme. The only issue was plumbing... any toilet flush next door or hand wash was enough to wake up anyone from a deepest sleep.

  The staff here were amazing!! My father passed away at this hotel on the 8.11.17 during my brothers wedding. I can not express how much the staff were there for our family. They supported us and just helped us through the worst and best day for our family and especially for my brother and sister in law who had just got married. They held the whole thing together. They were just amazing! I would recommend this place to stay to anyone, the wedding was absolutely beautiful too, the whole day was just perfect such a lovely place! As my dad would say it was topper! He had the best day there too he was telling us how he had spent time there as a young man going out with friends he loved it then and said it was Even better now he talked about how beautiful the whole place it was such a beautiful wedding and he had a fantastic day! I will be coming back to visit. Thank you again to the staff you all were just amazing!!! You went above and beyond and even more than that for our family we will never forget what you all did for our family. Thank you!!
