  A hotel that did it's job just fine and had a pretty excellent location. The room was nice but one could tell that this hotel had seen better days, a few cracks and bits of paintwork needed on the walls here and there; there seemed to be some much needed redecorating work ongoing whilst we were there. Pretty good value though considering not only the nice enough room, good location, excellent customer service we received and pretty impressive breakfast (you will need to upgrade to have cooked food). One poor note which may be important to you.. poor WiFi. Got a signal but the internet speeds were awful. I wouldn't be against returning to this place though by any means.

  Stayed in 108 and found the room to be about 1.5x larger than a modern house bedroom. It had a very comfortable bed and was nicely decorated. The en-suite was new and modern, everything worked well. The room didnt have a view because of two aircon units mounted on a flat roof adjacent, although at no time did the units cause us any problem during our stay in November, this might not be the case in the summer months. There was a little noise at night none of which would be any different for any of the other closely located hotels, none which was the cause of the hotel, but mostly from people walking past on their way home after a night on the town, but use of a pair of soft foam ear plugs completely removed this problem for me. The staff were friendly and helpful. On one occasion we asked at reception for some more milk for the tea making facility and it was delivered to our door before we could walk to our room via the stairs - excellent service. Our check in was scheduled for 3:00pm but we were offered a room at 10:30am when I asked if we could check in earlier. Not many hotels would be that flexible. The front desk, service staff and concierge were all very helpful, atmosphere and decor excellent, and we enjoyed our stay.
