  the worst hair cut I have ever received. I asked for a trim and for my hair to be cut so all the one length - instead I got incredibly short layers cut in to my curly hair. When I complained (I have never complained to a hairdresser before) they first denied cutting it, then asked me why I didn't question what was going on while I got my hair cut..as if it is my fault! After the experience I told my colleague what had happened and turns out the exact same thing had happened to her. The shape of my hair is ruined and the manager was rude. I don't mind paying for a good cut/dye but £125 is ridiculous considering the experience of the person cutting my hair (who I did not book - I was assigned someone else while in the salon). The salon itself is gorgeous.

  Very expensive but proof of you get what you pay for very posh black leather chairs a really nice complimentary head massage with hair cuts great experience and the products they sell there are very good too it also offers a great range of services which is nice

  I made an appointment with this salon for 2.15 in the afternoon. Unfortunately, the appointment was booked incorrectly. They rang me at 9 on the day, saying I had now missed my slot. In response to your response to my review: You did not offer me another appointment today, the person I spoke to thus morning specifically told me you had no slots today and invited me to make an appointment another day. I did not hang up the phone. The manager just called me now to tell me that in fact you did have slots today and still do but that you were not willing to give me one as I had left a negative review, despite it being your mistake and in the knowledge that the appointment had been booked to do my hair prior to a close family member's funeral tomorrow. If I have not arrived for an appointment twice in the past (this was not a no show, it was your error) it would have been over a long number of years - I've been a customer for a long time. You are a customer relations disaster. Your public actions here show you are willing to lie to protect your reputation but are unwilling to do the right thing when you've made a mistake. A once loyal customer will not be coming back and will be warning others to avoid at all costs.

  After my first visit to Russell Eaton today, I cannot rate them highly enough. I went in with a colour and cut disaster from another salon, and from consultation to finished cut they were fab. In particular Steph and Daniel who sorted out my colour and Ryan who did my cut. They literally worked miracles to save my hair and give me a colour and cut that I love and genuinely thought wasn’t achievable. From start to finish they were all so friendly and actually listened to what I wanted. Steph worked magic to correct an awful colour and give me the exact colour I had in my head and Ryan did a perfect pixie cut. I walked away a happy customer and will definitely be trusting them with my haircuts in future!
