With this been my doctors (with regret) i had all my midwife appointments here, first of all can i just say my midwife called claire was fantasic through out my whole pregnancy, so thank you claire :-) So let me explain why i give 1* , 1. My daughters 6wk check up, we came in time for her appointment only to be kept waiting for well over an HOUR with a newborn! Then her appointment was rushed and the doctor didnt do half the things he was meant to. 2. It came round to my daughters 8wk vaccines, which i booked myself, only for it to be cancelled via tex message ON THE MORNING OF HER APPOINTMENT, i then recieved a letter through the post saying i had not turned up and how important it is for children to have their vaccines!..The cheek of it......I then had to wait for yet another appointment for her...... 3week later i managed to get her in... 3. Next due, were my daughters 12 week vaccines, appointment was all booked in at the last appointment, but would you believe it CANCELLED yet again via text message and oh, ANOTHER letter through the post stating that i had not turned up and how important it is for children to have their vaccines....again the cheek of it... My daughter finally had her injections at 15weeks... 4. Her last lot of vaccines i was told i can ring and book them in on the 23rd april, but low and behold would you believe ive had yet ANOTHER letter stating i now have to ring after the 28th april which now means my daughters 16week vaccines have turned into her having them at nearly 21weeks and thats IF her next appointment isnt cancelled again... This is the last straw..... Rutland lodge, your an absolute disgrace! Every single appointment ive had with my daughter with you have all been cancelled by YOU and you have blamed me every time for not turning up which i do not appriciate. Can you give me an explanation as to why this kept happening or is someone else been blamed for this too? As a first time mother, id expect my newborn to have her vaccines either on time or at least around the time she has meant to have had them, not weeks later! Its safe to say, my daughter will be having her last set of vaccines with you to save any confusion and then we will be switching doctors, to one that is a lot better, and hopefully one where i can get an appointment for myself instead of been told to ring back every time i ring, if i could i would of given you 0* and i will not be recommending you to anyone!. UPDATE: On the same day as this review got wrote, i recieved a voicemail from the nurse to book an appointment for the week commensing 23RD APRIL, which would of meant an appointment from 23rd april to 27th april , bareing in mind i recieved a letter the same day to make an appointment for the week of 28th april.... so rutland lodge i ask you, after ringing you up, explaining to your receptionist i have just had a call from my daughters nurse to book her in for her vaccines for the week 23rd april why have i got an appointment for the 2nd MAY??.... what was the point of the nurse even ringing me? Because ive still had to book in AFTER the 28th april... now my daughter is to have her vaccines at 20wks instead of 16wks.... Absolutley useless 😡

I registered to this surgery a few months ago. There were no long waits for the doctor and during my appointment they put my prescription on repeat to save me coming back in every month which I was doing at my previous surgery. My review is mainly about the receptionist though as when I signed up, she was learning and took a little longer but was so friendly and happy. I then went in for a second time after losing a strip of medication. She went out of her way to help me and again smiles all around which makes a huge difference to the whole doctors experience. Nobody wants to be at the doctors but the receptionist makes it feel much less of a chore and doctors have common sense!

The doctor couldn't even get it right, I suffer from a serious condition and the first time I went there he said "You're fine!" and my condition developed to a serious condition that can not be reversed, and don't get me started on the horrible patient service that is provided, you are treated like a pig until you can get into to the, quote on quote, Doctor's office.... Thanks "DOCTOR" khan, great work!

I recently joined this surgery and I have no complaints regarding it. The staff are clear and concise as well as polite and professional. I can get a prescription in 2 working days which is much quicker than my previous surgery. As well as this; There's a walk in surgery daily which hardly any doctors do. Appointments with doctors are normally available the following week which is very rare. Routine blood tests are given when a new patient registers, another first for me. To those who have given negative comments, a lot of them say the same thing which is they held on the phone for a long time to get an appointment. Just WALK IN to the surgery in the morning and you can see a doctor if you / your child is sick. Just read the information provided! Or call 111 and they can get you emergency appointments, or recommend emergency services. It's common sense, people. Stop expecting the world from medical services that are already stretched thin!

Highly unprofessional with zero care for a patient. Have been unwell and DD, a receptionist asked me to go to their second surgery without appropriate direction to get there. I couldn't find the surgery as she said it is hidden in a shopping parade. I went back to the main surgery again where she argued that I can only see a GP at the walk-in surgery for a brand new ailment not related to an old ailment. I told her it was for a new ailment and she asked me to wait. I then sat for 1 hour and 45 minutes and saw others who came after me, and asked DD how long more I had to wait. She said in disdain that she will take my name off the list and I could leave, so I left. I came back to ask her name so I could complain, and she unclasped her name badge and said 'good, there you go'. as I type this review I am still very unwell and not sure where to go and get treatment as we are new in this town.
