  Great staff but incredibly bad management. Ridiculously expensive and unfortunately everything that's affordable is really badly stocked! But I love the staff!

  Appalling fire safety evacuation - an alarm went off, the majority of staff had no clue what was going on, some weren't even sure if it was a fire alarm, all staff began evacuating and no one inform customers of what was going on or where to evacuate to... Actually disgusted there was no concern for customer safety at all. All staff left customers standing outside whilst they went to their meet point (some staff weren't even sure where that was either). We were left not sure what was going on or where to go... Appalled. Serious improvement is needed for health and safety

  Generally well stocked with branded products but usually out of the cheaper alternative (basics) Not much in the way of vegetarian options unless you want to eat Quorn for every meal, fruit and veg often gone bad and still on the shelf and no scales to weigh what your buying. Theres an in-store dentist and a Lloyds pharmacy in store (quite pricey) Not many tills open as they seem to have more self checkouts than staff which is not so great for the community. Not an very clean store also lacking a cafe but there is free parking,toilets and a free taxi phone, i found the staff to be genrally helpful and friendly

  Always parking available, which is nice for a store based in Brighton. A bit pricy for basics but that's Sainsbury's in general. A little slow to open tills when busy. Meat counter is well stocked but fish counter has always been a bit sparse when I've visited.
