  Good old fashion pub ! All about the beer love it. Don't go if you like things new and fresh.

  Cracking historical little boozer that always stocks an ever changing selection of ales from all over the UK. And there real hand drawn ales and not the craft ale variety. Always busy and can get very rammed if there is something going on in the fleece next door. Love the Stars always something new on everytime.

  Dropped by about 1300h on a Saturday as part of a mini pub crawl. Really friendly bar staff who allowed a little sample of the stout before a full pint was purchased. All of the ales/stout/porters we had were top notch.

  Our favourite watering hole before gigs next door! Always have a nice selection of ales on draft, a good atmosphere and very welcoming staff. We'll be back very soon.

  Great selection of real ales. Feels like how pubs used to be. Staff could have been friendlier but hey they were polite and knew their beers. Fair few locals which is a good sign for a city centre pub!
