  The facilities are very nice and all the gym equipment are brand new. However, the climbing wall and Xen-Do are not included in the membership. The lowest they are willing to talk down a membership price for a student is £24.99, which i toniggt was great. For the most part, the place is mostly empty. All the staff are very friendly and helpful.

  As a local resident it is cheap and never crowded. Frontline staff are pleasant and helpful. Management treat their customers with contempt. For example just before recent renovations they let the mens changing rooms get so filthy that there was black mould on almost every vertical surface. The newly renovated showers now have cubicles so small that i am unable to stretch out fully when soaping myself and i am only 176 cm tall. They could have easily extended them another 10 cm. The towel hook is on the inside of the door and your towel gets wet from the shower. They changed opening hours over Christmas and only announced the changes by placing a single A4 black and white page on the front door. No changes made to their website. This is but a few of the hassles of going there but as a student cost is paramount so i suffer on

  Their service is appalling... First of all, they do not have prices clearly specified anywhere at their offices when you ask them for a membership. They would simply write down the prices on a piece of paper!! (who does that!) they would often make mistakes and try to remember the numbers by heart. (tip: make sure you haggle the joining fee) I only joined to play squash there and their online booking system has been down for 2 weeks! What's even worse they rarely pick up the phone to take bookings! The stuff is not trained well at all hence the service they are able to provide is terrible indeed. One of the ladies was trying to put me through to the reception - she hanged up 7 times before she managed to press the right button - plus she was laughing to my face! Absolutely terrible service, if you can you should certainly avoid them!

  I used to go here swimming everyweek from 1987- 1993. Had a lot of happy days there. It was in need of modernisation then but for central London not at all expensive. Would love to re visit one day.

  This place is amazing. All new equipment with latest technology. Free wifi. Swimming pool, wall climbing. It's the best leisure centre I have come across in the U.K.
