    Terrible! Find another cobbler... My shoe broke and I just needed a blob of glue. He charged me £5 for a minutes work and literally a blob of glue (which he also got all over the shoe along with his shoe polished thumb print and I now can’t get off GRRRrrr) and when I asked (prior to doing the work- coz I wouldn’t have wanted him to anyway seeing what a terrible job he did with the broken one) if he could glue the other shoe as well as it was slightly coming away at the seam, he said that it would cost another £5!!! I thought he was joking at first and then realised he was dead serious!! I’d post a picture of the bodge job he did if I could. But don’t know how.... He was young and cocky and thought I’d be charmed by the gift of his gab. But I’m just disappointed that for £5 he kind of spoilt my favourite pair of shoes. I would have thought that £5 could have warranted a little more attentive care and time, rather than globbing glue all over and then using ya dirty thumb to wipe it off!! It would appear not... Anyway, if your stuck in London with a broken shoe, don’t stop here to be rescued!!

    Main guy working here made me come back twice..and then when I did he told me to stand outside bare foot if I wanted my shoes serviced, extremely disgusting behaviour, have you got any basic common sense?

    I had my Goodyear welted boots resoled there, and they did a good job. Took a week longer than claimed (hence the one star less), but I will definitely use them again.

    Dropped off a shoe on Monday that had a broken zipper and expressly said it needed to be fixed by Thursday for a trip. Went in today (Thursday) to be met with a blank stare when I asked if my shoe was ready- he had only sent it off at 12pm and he told me it wasn't due back until Friday. No apology, no explanation and no communication even though I had stopped in twice to ask if it would be ready.
